Veron Gugyerás
Abstract Folk Art
I am Veron Gugyerás, a creative artist. I was born in 1985 in Budapest, where I currently live and create.
Since childhood, I have loved drawing, and my art teacher at school also considered me talented. Encouraged by their support, I began to take drawing more seriously, attending art clubs, with a particular interest in fashion illustration.
After a long break, I started painting, which captivated me so much that I have been painting regularly ever since and continually developing my skills.
I enjoy creating abstract and figurative abstract paintings the most, as I feel they allow me to best express my emotions and thoughts. In my art, I combine traditional Kalocsa motifs with modern abstract forms, creating a visual bridge between the past and the present.
In the autumn of 2022, I began showcasing my works in group exhibitions. The spring of 2023 marked a breakthrough in my life with my solo debut and participation in additional group exhibitions as an exhibiting artist.
Alongside my work and family responsibilities, I dedicate all my remaining time to painting.
I hope that, over time, I will achieve my goals and dreams in the field of art. My aim is for each of my creations to open a window to a serene yet vibrant world, making every viewing a unique emotional journey between cultural heritage and modern contemporary forms.
